D.R. Horton to Install Centrosolar America’s CentroPack® on Model Home Outside Tucson
Scottsdale, Arizona—October 17, 2011—Today Centrosolar America, the U.S. subsidiary of German-based Centrosolar Group AG, announces it has been selected by D.R. Horton as the preferred provider of solar technology for its new homes in the Tucson area. Centrosolar America will be installing a rooftop solar array on a model home at Stonefield, D.R. Horton’s new Oro Valley, Arizona community of homes. The 2.07kw solar system will showcase Centrosolar America’s CentroPack®, the company’s complete pre-packaged system for residential solar installations.
D.R. Horton is making a rooftop solar option available to their homebuyers in Tucson. Prospective buyers will be able to see solar demonstrated on the model home. The company expects to roll out the solar option in 14 other communities in the Tucson Market, once the model home at Oro Valley is completed.
The CentroPack® pre-packaged system includes the C- Series modules as well as it’s proprietary CentroRack™ mounting system and the CentroData™ monitoring unit, which continually monitors residential solar system performance. The monitoring unit will display system output at the Stonefield model home and at sales offices across the region, serving as a real-time solar energy system demonstration for customers.
